Spear Creek Holiday Park

Owners Tom and Jai had recently taken over the caravan park from Tom’s family (who still own and work the surrounding station) and were looking to breath new life into the business. Revamping the park and their entire online presence meant they were in need of new photos to reflect the changes they’ve made.

Understanding their need for both informative images and inspiring images, I got to work creating a content library that they could draw from as needed. Over a couple nights I photographed their accomodations and amenities - inside and out, and in varying light - and the general park, campsites, campers, walking trails, and lookouts. We also worked together to shoot videos for use on their social media channels.

Almerta Station

One of SA’s ‘Station Stays’, Almerta Station has been in the Rowe family since the 1930’s, and current owners Paddy and Shane still farm sheep there while also providing travellers with beautiful, private campsites. When I was asked to photograph the Station I was given just about the best brief a photographer could ask for: Shoot whatever you’d like.

Taking their request to heart I spent two nights feverishly criss-crossing their Station to focus on the landmarks I found most interesting; this included The Bluff, The Rocks, the Natural Spring, and the Post Office Ruins.

Pod Camper

Since taking a chance on me as my first professional client, I’ve had a great ongoing relationship with owners Tony and Lili. I’ve worked with them to create both images and video for their websites, social media, and brochures. The work has ranged from strict product photograhy, to more lifestyle and travel images, to behind the scenes content.

Mt Ive Station

The gateway to Lake Gairdner National Park, Mt Ive Station has been a popular destination for caravaners and campers for decades. I approached owner Joy to do some work for the station as there were very few images on the website that actually showed the various landmarks and points of interest.

Along with photographing places like the old stockyards and embankment, I also took general images of the station to add value to the final delivery of images.

Offline Campers

After editing a walk-around video for them to show off their Domino camper, owner Sam came to me about doing a short shoot to tease their new toy-hauler/camper trailer. These images were for both their social media and website leading up to the announcement and then the big reveal.

Far Horizon Campers

Another client with whom I have an on going relationship, Far Horizon Campers is based in Aldinga, South Australia. I’ve done work recently photographing their new model of caravan, plus I’ve done graphic design work, creating brochures and advertisements.

Cuttys Tours

I had been talking with owner Matt about the possibility of shooting images for him in preparation for the official opening of his glass-bottom boat business. Unfortunately Tourism Australia got in before me and offered a large photo and video shoot on the house…

I thought it would be a great opportunity for some interesting photos anyway, so in exchange for a tour, and free rein to shoot what I wanted, I offered the images in return.
